We have had some memorable prayers in our house lately. We go from the sweet and heart melting to the just plain silly to some that are really funny. Some examples:

Audrey: ..."and I am thankful for my parents that protect me."

Nathan: ..."And please bless that Audrey can make better choices tomorrow."

A little background - Audrey lost her nighttime reading book because she chose to not listen and play with the computer at Barnes and Noble. She was very upset that we weren't giving in and would not let her have a book before bed.
Audrey: ..."and please bless that I get a book tonight."

I can almost hear Nathan saying his prayer. It must be hard to keep a straight face sometimes when they say their prayers.

How sweet! I love listening to children pray. You never know what they are going to say. You should hear some of the things the kiddos say in Primary. :) said...

Oh yes Nathan and Audrey both know they are talking to a tangible person who is our Heavenly Father and expect good things to happen afterwards. Love those children's prayers.
